How adorable are these Valentine Cookie Cutter Eggs? These are perfect to make for your little ones, or your special someone on Valentine’s Day! My husband had the genius idea when we saw some cute cookie cutters at the store in the Valentine’s Day section to make some breakfast treats and use the cookie cutters to make them holiday themed.
- 1 scrambled egg (makes 2 cutouts)
- 8-inch Saute Pan
- Cookie Cutters (here are the ones I used)
- Flat Surface for Cutting Out Eggs
Pour your scrambled egg into the pan on medium heat, wait until you are able to flip it like a pancake, then cook on the other side as well. I found that it was a lot easier to cut them out while the egg is still warm, but after it has cooked for about 2 minutes. I pushed the cookie cutter down and wiggled it around – starting on one end and putting pressure on each spot to the other end of the shape. I made sure it was cut out completely and free from the rest of the egg before removing the cookie cutter.Make sure to follow Artsy Mama Bear on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram, or subscribe to our Weekly Newsletter! :) This post may contain affiliate links, read our Disclosure Policy for more information.
