This idea is one of my favorites ever, shipping box coloring. My nieces absolutely LOVE this activity and if you shop online, you will never run out of supplies for this idea! So after you get your goodies in the mail, what do you usually do with your shipping boxes? At my house we recycle them if we don’t have any use for them. But how about this idea? Instead of having your kiddos draw or color on a piece of paper and ask for a new one every 20 seconds (literally) you can use a big shipping box and this should keep them busy and occupied for a LOT longer than that! I dare you to try this and tell me they get bored after 20 seconds. No way!
- Shipping box
- Color Crayons, Markers, or COLORED PENCILS
Just take that old shipping box, break it down into one flat piece, and then put the side with labels facing towards the ground. And there you have it, a blank canvas for your little ones. I must say, even I enjoyed doing this with the little ones in my life. Coloring is not only for the young in age, but the young at heart as well!Make sure to follow Artsy Mama Bear on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram, or subscribe to our Weekly Newsletter! :) This post may contain affiliate links, read our Disclosure Policy for more information.
